This is the best diner in Point. I go there often for lunch, and in nice weather they are happy to run my lunch two blocks to me at my shop. Everything these is homemade except for french fries and pie crusts. (I wrote a review about them, so I know these things.) Their bread is homemade. Their mashed potatoes are real. Their baked chicken is beyond awesome. The bread pudding equals New Orleans bread pudding. Finally, during Lent they make homemade pazcki (pron. punchka), fruit-filled doughnuts.

I ordered the tuna salad sandwich with tomato tortellini soup. It was all delicious and the service was great. The only downside is that customers must pass the noisy kitchen to access the patio.

When you're on the road, a diner is the way to go. You know what to expect and it's hard to mess up. And this one was a winner. Quick, nice service. Fun place with all the cups and random decorations. Standard menu but with CHEAP prices. We ate for $20, with tip and coffee. I got the corned beef hash and it was delicious. Louisiana hot sauce on the side, yes please! Get the homemade white toast for 25 cents extra, ha. Very good and a no brainer to slop the corned beef, hash browns, and scrambled eggs on to it. Wife loved her grilled ham and cheese. And again, how can you mess that up? Great place!

This us a local meal place for retirees and people who work downtown. The soups are always good and the dinner plate daily specials are filling and affordable. I had the cream of potato soup and a cup of chili. Both were good, diner style offerings. It's a cold day and the soup came good n' hot at 10:30 in the morning. This place is and always has been frequented by people on fixed incomes. The wait and cooking staff is attentive and polite to everyone. Tip them generously for the community service that they are to the elderly who can still get around.

I have been to Cozy Kitchen a few times, and I normally get breakfast food and it's always good. Today I went for something different and got the fried chicken dinner. It was great! But the main reason I go is for the homemade bread. It is always good and fresh.

Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and the place was packed. Sign said home cooking what could be better. It is a cozy place with a counter, booths and a few tables. Menu is not that big but has the right things. I had the biscuit and gravy with scrambled and a a side of ham. Biscuit gravy was thick with crumbled sausage, not links cut into slices. The scrambled eggs standard and the ham was not off the bone. Over all it was good and if I lived here hit would be a breakfast spot. It felt like a small town down home place.

The perfect place for breakfast. Omlettes are thin and flavorful. Sausage gravy has the right touch of pepper. Burgers are simple, but good - so is the coffee
